i’ve seen it
olivia dean, 2025
recommended for juhoon
it is a beautiful portrayal of love everywhere all around us. i feel like he would enjoy the mellow vibe since he doesn’t smile as often
do you like me?
daniel caesar, 2023
recommended for coer
very chill, not sad nor happy, just a late night drive typa song. especially recommended to juhoon-biased folks.
content note: explicit language
skywatchers
carrie arcos, 2020
recommended for all of cortis
it’s a really cool sci-fi thriller that blends reality and teenage life into mind-bending time travel elements. i think cortis would love a good teen sci-fi!!
yi yi
edward yang, 2000
recommended for james
yiyi is a taiwanese classic that—dare i say—features one of the best existential dialogues of modern cinema. although it differs from the genre of movies james has mentioned thus far, i think it may resonate with him not only because he grew up in a taiwanese family, but also because the film unravels like a universal testament to human life. you’ll see what i mean when you watch it—i highly recommend it for coers too!!
content note: sexual content, explicit language
fried green tomatoes
jon avnet, 1992
recommended for coer
because it's a movie that everyone should see at least once.
content note: racism
eyedazzler
alison's halo, 1995
recommended for martin
this album is very dreamy and atmospheric. it has a lot of reverb-y guitar sounds and distortions which reminds me a lot of slowdive and cocteu twins, which i feel like martin might really enjoy!
the poppy war
r.f. kuang, 2018
recommended for coer
“war doesn’t determine who’s right. war determines who remains.” this historical military fantasy offers a brilliant and raw portrayal of the horrors of war and the devastating impact of imperialism. it is a fantastic read featuring a deeply complex and compelling protagonist whose journey will completely grip you from start to finish.
content note: graphic depictions of war crimes, extreme violence, sexual violence, genocide
long season
fishmans, 1996
recommended for coer
for the coers who like rock music, i want to share one of my favourite bands with you. this song is quite long and i recommend listening to this song while going on a walk, preferably after the sky has gone dark to really feel it!!!
colour trip
ringo deathstarr, 2011
recommended for all of cortis
since cortis has mentioned and recommended quite a bit of shoegaze i want to recommend them one of my favourite albums from the genre. if i were to describe this album i would say its like a happy and brighter sounding shoegaze!
headphones on
addison rae, 2025
recommended for coer
life is hard for all of us, and sometimes when things get heavy, all you can do is put your headphones on. this song reminds me of james, but i wanted to share it for everyone
mystery lady
masego & don toliver, 2021
recommended for all of cortis
don toliver feature! and this song suits all of cortis and i think they’ll like it

french kids
almost monday, 2026
recommended for all of cortis
i wonder what it felt like to be in France back then, maybe it was just like this song; full of that warm and gentle sunshine.
content note: explicit language
martyr!
kaveh akbar, 2024
recommended for all of cortis
it’s so much about art, identity, and figuring yourself out through everything you’ve picked up from the world around you. it explores grief, mortality, addiction, belonging, and cultural identity alongside poetry, pop culture, humor, and weirdness, and i think cortis could really connect with the idea of turning all those influences into something uniquely your own.
content note: substance addiction, suicide themes, parental loss
out for the night (live)
the marias, 2019
recommended for keonho
keonho was once listening to clairo and shelly while on live with seonghyeon. i feel he would also enjoy the marias’ music because they’re quite similar in a sense.
skin and bones
the sundays, 1990
recommended for juhoon
recommending a song from one of my favorite albums of all time to juhoon. being the old soul he is, the sundays’ music to me screams nostalgia and comfort.
thats no fun
steve lacy, 2020
recommended for james
i really love how james perceives life and how he has such a broad taste in everything, never limiting himself to specific things. he's always evolving and changing because that's part of life, and he understands that. this song portrays exactly how it's not fun to stay the same
content note: explicit language
aging out of the 20th century
trash panda, 2023
recommended for juhoon
this song reminds me of growing up, losing your spark, and eventually finding it again after a long while. sometimes, it’s okay to disconnect from the things you’re used to doing bcs it gives you the chance to explore new things in life. i think juhoon would love this as well; its soft, dreamy warmth feels like something that belongs to him.
