arctic monkeys, 2013
recommended for james
soft, groovy rock with lyrics i think he’d appreciate. the tempo could also make it a great listen while he’s playing hockey

ibeyi, 2026
recommended for coer
the way the instrumental builds while the vocals stay consistent creates such an ethereal experience, you just want to close your eyes and move to the drums. the music video perfectly captures that feeling. definitely one of my top five songs of the year.
all i did was dream of you
beebadoobee, 2026
recommended for all of cortis
i didn’t want to limit this to a specific member. it gives me a similar feeling to “what you want” and “joyride”: yearning for something more while still protecting yourself.
content note: anxiety, emotional distress, intense imagery
demon days
gorillaz, 2005
recommended for james
james has mentioned damon albarn’s band blur many times, so i think he’d love this album if he doesn’t already know it. its strings add an orchestral twist to the funky, experimental sound, and the songs challenge your palette and leave you wanting more. it’s gorillaz’s most popular album for a reason!
content note: mild language, drug references, violence
becoming x
sneaker pimps , 1996
recommended for all of cortis
a milestone of ’90s trip-hop, balancing pop melodies with dark electronic beats. since cortis has recommended songs with this vibe, i thought they might enjoy it!
gemini rights
steve lacy, 2022
recommended for all of cortis
i will never stop the steve lacy x cortis agenda. i know they already listen to his music, but i need a review asap.
content note: explicit lyrics
pachinko
soo hugh, 2022
recommended for all of cortis
it’s history important and is a korean history drama which raises more awareness in their peoples struggles i think its historically important and its based off a novel as well i think they will enjoy it
content note: war, mild sexual content
outta time
kelela & a.k. paul, 2026
recommended for juhoon
i think juhoon would enjoy its light rock and jazzy elements. it’s calming with a lightly chaotic back-and-forth near the end, and with headphones, he’d really feel the melancholic tone of kelela’s beautiful voice.
am i wrong
anderson paak/schoolboy q, 2015
recommended for all of cortis
such a groovy song with a catchy beat, and the artists’ voices fit it perfectly. i think they’d love its carefree, windows-down, “hey! life isn’t so bad” vibe.
content note: explicit lyrics, mature themes
september rain
makoto matsushita , 1981
recommended for all of cortis
city pop is just peak music, and hearing cortis sample it would be genius omg.
gautauba
plan b, 2002
recommended for all of cortis
i’ve seen that cortis loves exploring music, fashion, and more, so i’d love for them to discover old-school reggaeton from the 2000s–2010s. it’s always a vibe and impossible not to dance to, just don’t focus too much on the lyrics.
content note: sexual themes, alcohol references
cuts and bruises
inhaler, 2023
recommended for keonho
i feel like keonho would enjoy this type of vibe that is more rock/indie :)
everything you’ve come to expect
the last shadow puppets, 2016
recommended for all of cortis
sound inspired by david bowie and scott walker. the artist is actually a duo: alex turner (from the arctic monkeys) and miles kane (the rascals). top tier album trusttttt
content note: sexual themes, substance use, mature themes
lost in starlight
han ji-won, 2025
recommended for martin
an astronaut dreaming of joining the mars mission and a musician who lost her spark find each other while facing their own dilemmas. it shows how love and passion can be pursued without sacrificing one for the other. as someone who can’t let go of my passion, it moved me, and knowing how much love and passion martin has, i think it would resonate with him ❤
content note: mature themes, suggestive content, language, peril
