james has mentioned damon albarn’s band blur many times, so i think he’d love this album if he doesn’t already know it. its strings add an orchestral twist to the funky, experimental sound, and the songs challenge your palette and leave you wanting more. it’s gorillaz’s most popular album for a reason!
