robin hood
wolfgang reitherman, 1973
recommended for seonghyeon
robin hood feels very seonghyeon, they’re both cheeky and funny but serious when it matters most.
what if i break?
wind walkers, 2023
recommended for martin
it’s a modern post-hardcore and alternative metal album with raw lyrics about self-doubt, anxiety and vulnerability. since martin loves alternative music, i think he’d enjoy the sound and connect with the lyrics.
content note: substance use, self-harm themes, mental health struggles, explicit language
all the same all ok
sweet93, 2021
recommended for keonho
he likes my bloody valentine, so i feel like he’d enjoy this beautiful dream pop and shoegaze album <3
jennifer’s body
diablo cody, 2009
recommended for martin
my favorite movie ever. i know he’d lowkey be freaked out but think she’s cool asf, plus the outfits are tea and it’s a cult classic.
content note: sexual content, bloody violence, language, brief drug use
foxbase alpha
saint etienne, 1992
recommended for seonghyeon
seonghyeon has expressed interest in english bands, as well as other synth-pop esque sounds. this downtempo album really suits him in my opinion!
nine queens
fabian bielinsky, 2000
recommended for martin
it’s a catchy movie, i think martin would love it.
content note: mild violence, moderate profanity, mature themes
place in me
luke hemmings, 2021
recommended for martin
i think the quiet vulnerability of this song would really suit martin. like “blue lips,” the way it talks about feeling lost, carrying things with you and searching for peace makes me think of him, especially as someone growing up with so much responsibility as a leader. i can already imagine his voice fitting the softer parts so well <3
super what?
czarface and mf doom, 2021
recommended for all of cortis
one of my favorite albums!!! the production sounds like the background of an old game, like “redred,” and some of the verses go crazyyy. since cortis listens to a lot of trap, rage and memphis rap, i’d love for them to hear a different subgenre ;)
content note: explicit lyrics, mature themes
eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
michel gondry & charlie kauffman, 2004
recommended for all of cortis
it perfectly captures how messy and painful love can be, but reminds you why it is still entirely worth it. :)
content note: strong language, substance use, nudity, intense mature themes
whiplash
damien chazelle, 2014
recommended for james
i feel like james would love this movie because he seems to love films that leave you feeling empty. it’s about chasing absolute greatness in your craft at the cost of extreme personal sacrifice, and the craziest part? it was filmed in just 19 days!
content note: abuse, strong language, violence, substance use, intense mature themes
seguir viviendo sin tu amor
luis alberto spinetta, 1991
recommended for all of cortis
it’s argentinian rock, and since argentina is known for its great rock music, i think they might really like it!
different now
alina, 2026
recommended for all of cortis
it’s such a nice song, and i think they’d appreciate the vibe. the artist is also a bit niche, which i’ve noticed the boys like in their music.
content note: explicit lyrics
different this time
cornelia murr, 2018
recommended for all of cortis
an honest poetry about breaking old, toxic relationship cycles and choosing a healthier path. <3
high and low
akira kurosawa, 1963
recommended for james
i think james would really enjoy kurosawa’s high and low. it’s a crime thriller about a kidnapping that builds intense, claustrophobic tension through suspense rather than action. the cat-and-mouse aspect would keep him completely locked in, and i’m so curious what he’d think!
content note: crime, substance use, violence, intense themes
all american trash
brockhampton, 2016
recommended for all of cortis
cortis is so brockhampton coded, which is why they’re my favorite group ever. this first album began their journey as friends making music, experimenting without caring what anyone thought, and simply enjoying themselves. best boybands since one direction!
content note: explicit language, mature themes
song for a.
richard sanderson, 1983
recommended for coer
this song means so much to me. it felt like a hug of remembrance, a whisper that i’m not alone in feeling this way. i hope to share this piece of my heart with so many beautiful, individual minds.
