the sea
morcheeba, 1998
recommended for keonho
i was listening to this track by morcheeba and keonho came to mind. it's all about escaping the daily rush and finding peace by the ocean (because he is a swimmer he will probably understand it the most 👀). it has such a good vibe, i feel like it's totally his style.
precious
depeche mode, 2005
recommended for james
i just think this really suits james a lot, and it’s funny that it was released in his birth year. it’s a dark, emotional synth-pop track with a steady electronic pulse, nostalgic lyrics, and a deeply melancholic apology at its center, which feels perfect if you love atmospheric music with deep synths and a moody, beautiful vibe.
inflatable
bush, 2001
recommended for all of cortis
based on the songs they’ve recommended and what i’ve heard in their content, i feel like they’d really enjoy this, especially martin. it has a soft grunge, rock, brit-pop-inspired sound with a melancholic, dreamy melody and lyrics full of longing, loneliness, sadness, and romance. i discovered it while rewatching smallville, which has so many gems on its soundtrack.
la grasa de las capitales
serú girán, 1979
recommended for juhoon
based on the amoeba music video i think he could enjoy this album
janji manis
masdo, 2017
recommended for all of cortis
i feel like they would lowkey vibe with this song since they like bands, and it honestly just screams cortis to me because of how goofy they are 24/7. i also wanted to introduce them to something outside of pop and represent my country a little.
disco inferno
linlin, 2026
recommended for martin
haven’t seen many recommendations of french artists so i wanted to mention this project. i genuinely think it’s very underrated, and i feel like especially martin and james would enjoy her sound. she blends pop rap, and electronic dance music really well, and the overall production on the album is really good.
content note: explicit language, mature themes, drug use
do you think you could love me?
yung kai, 2025
recommended for juhoon
this song is so beautiful. there’s deep yearning ,devotion and vulnerability. it really gives juhoon
joan of arc
little mix, 2018
recommended for all of cortis
cortis loves hip hop beats and rapping, so here’s a fun, energetic, and sassy song from the underrated girl group little mix. they’re based in london, and member jade has also shown a lot of love for kpop, collaborated with le sserafim, and helped write songs for twice.
stupid brain
p1harmony, 2025
recommended for coer
“stupid brain” is an r&b song by p1harmony, a group that’s just as funny, talented, and chaotic as cortis. it’s my personal favorite and a great introduction to them, and if you want to learn more about their concept, they even debuted with a sci-fi movie, which is so cool.
kinematografia
paktofonika, 2000
recommended for martin
kinematografia is possibly the greatest polish hip-hop album of all time and i believe martin would eat it up
content note: explicit language
lust for life
lana del ray, 2017
recommended for seonghyeon
one of the best albums u could ever hear with such cool collabs and top tier production seonghyeon would definitely enjoy listening to this !!
content note: explicit language, substance use, mature themes
