kill v. maim
grimes, 2015
recommended for martin
i feel like martin would enjoy this song because of its maximalist electronic production, mixing pitch-shifted vocal chops, cheerleader chants, cyberpunk synths, punk rock grit, and pop melodies. the theatrical concept of a space-traveling vampire mob boss also feels very color outside the lines, and i think he could find the sound and idea creatively inspiring.

unethical
faouzia, 2025
recommended for coer
this song really moves one. there is such a special depth in the song, in the writing and the music that accompanies it, one will feel like they're in a world ending moment. sometimes you don't even need to experience proper romantic heartbreak with such a song, sometimes life itself will feel so unethical to you that this will move you. fin~

this is one of my recent favorite songs, i think that it gives off the vibe of hanging out with your closest friends after school. it’s upbeat and rock, something i think james would really enjoy. i highly recommend :)

tak ada wifi di alam baka
koil & .feast, 2023
recommended for martin
this song mixes industrial rock with electronic elements, with sharp guitar sounds and energetic drums. the lyrics use imagery like “the end of the world” and “hell” as a social critique of our obsession with social media and how dependent people have become on the internet. for some reason, i just feel like this song really fits martin’s vibe!

it has a really ear-catching beat and song’s composition. it has electronic breakbeat and hits with the digicore/hyperpop atmosphere song.

panasea
rumahsakit, 2019
recommended for all of cortis
the word "panacea" (or panasea in indonesia) itself means a remedy or cure for all diseases means. the lyrics express that true love remains unchanged even when distance separates two people. this song has a really deep meaning and poetic lyric, also completed with the slow pace instruments.

this song means deeply for you who works so hard all day. the lyric actually really poetic in indonesian language. tells about someone who exhausted after work, and their weekend turns into a tired escape room where they can’t really enjoy. it describe how work can consume us so much. i deff recommend they listen!!

a place in my heart
club 8, 2001
recommended for all of cortis
i think they might enjoy its dreamy, slightly bittersweet sound and the contrast between the soft, nostalgic melody and more melancholic lyrics. since cortis seems to enjoy experimenting with different genres and sounds, this kind of atmospheric indie pop could be interesting for them, and club 8’s discography is worth checking out too.

this underhyped album genuinely gives me completely positive vibes for absolutely no reason. it captures the meaningful, fleeting transition period between childhood and adulthood. most of the songs on this album sound "similar" but all carry different meanings. the song "지끈지끈" is my favourite!
boys don’t cry

it’s a post-punk track that is upbeat with meaning.
i think he would like it along with other tracks from the cure.
