the way the rap parts in the verses of this song complement the vocals in the chorus is just majestic (like martin ofc). idk why, i just think lover boy martin will enjoy this song <3

the english system, 2002

recommended for all of cortis

i think cortis would really like this because it feels like color in sound, hazy, nostalgic, dreamy, and somehow sad but warm at the same time. even though it’s from 2002, it feels timeless and has that diy bedroom feel that matches how they create things themselves; it feels very color outside the lines.

olivia dean, 2025

very chill, not sad nor happy, just a late night drive typa song. especially recommended to juhoon-biased folks.

betcover!!, 2025

recommended for martin

martin has said that he grew up listening to a lot of rock so I want to recommend him this album by betcover!! it's one of my favourite releases last year and has jazzy elements that i really enjoyed.

alison's halo, 1995

recommended for martin

this album is very dreamy and atmospheric. it has a lot of reverb-y guitar sounds and distortions which reminds me a lot of slowdive and cocteu twins, which i feel like martin might really enjoy!

fishmans, 1996

recommended for coer

for the coers who like rock music, i want to share one of my favourite bands with you. this song is quite long and i recommend listening to this song while going on a walk, preferably after the sky has gone dark to really feel it!!!

ringo deathstarr, 2011

recommended for all of cortis

since cortis has mentioned and recommended quite a bit of shoegaze i want to recommend them one of my favourite albums from the genre. if i were to describe this album i would say its like a happy and brighter sounding shoegaze!

addison rae, 2025

recommended for coer

life is hard for all of us, and sometimes when things get heavy, all you can do is put your headphones on. this song reminds me of james, but i wanted to share it for everyone

the marias, 2019

recommended for keonho

keonho was once listening to clairo and shelly while on live with seonghyeon. i feel he would also enjoy the marias’ music because they’re quite similar in a sense.

the sundays, 1990

recommended for juhoon

recommending a song from one of my favorite albums of all time to juhoon. being the old soul he is, the sundays’ music to me screams nostalgia and comfort.

jeff buckley, 1994

recommended for martin

jeff buckley’s music to me has always been the epitome of longing and yearning. i feel like martin’s taste in music gives very much hopeless romantic, and anything by jeff buckley seems to fit right in

steve lacy, 2020

recommended for james

i really love how james perceives life and how he has such a broad taste in everything, never limiting himself to specific things. he's always evolving and changing because that's part of life, and he understands that. this song portrays exactly how it's not fun to stay the same

trash panda, 2023

recommended for juhoon

this song reminds me of growing up, losing your spark, and eventually finding it again after a long while. sometimes, it’s okay to disconnect from the things you’re used to doing bcs it gives you the chance to explore new things in life. i think juhoon would love this as well; its soft, dreamy warmth feels like something that belongs to him.

julie london, 1955

recommended for juhoon

he enjoys chet, he’d love julie. super sultry and enticing. she is a jewel, very very nice for the fall.

joão gilberto, 1977

recommended for martin

the man who sang this is a legend in brasil. in the album itself it’s very romantic but also a different genre they might enjoy. very romantic, very soft, with a deep relationship to love.
