homesick
wave to earth, 2023
recommended for james
whenever i listen to homesick (and holyland, also by w2e) i always think of james because daniel kim’s voice has a similar tone as james, which i love bc they’re both amazing. i think the lyrics of homesick resonate with james’s story, at least to me :)

bentobox
me and my sandcastle, 2021
recommended for keonho & seonghyeon
i like to describe this type of music as sunny indie, and whenever i think of something like that i think of keonho :) 09z in general, actually. i know they have different tastes, but i think seonghyeon would like the production on this song as well
beautiful thang
shybully, 2026
recommended for all of cortis
niche artist with a really chill laidback vibe. definitely a late night drive kind of song.

trátame suavemente
soda stereo, 1984
recommended for martin
soda stereo is my favorite latin rock band, and whenever i listen to them i always think martin would really like their music, especially songs like “de música ligera” and “en la ciudad de la furia.” their gentle but passionate, deep lyrics feel so much like his style, and i can honestly imagine him as our gustavo cerati of this time.
anunciação
alceu valença, 1983
recommended for juhoon
it's a rhythm that I think juhoon would love to know. it means "announcement" and allows each one to project a different story about the word and lyrics of the song.
tek it
cafuné, 2021
recommended for seonghyeon
an upbeat song but the lyrics give more of a shy and chill vibe. the song itself expresses moving forward from someone dear to you. the song is worth listening to till the end for its beautiful last chorus which fuses the feeling of slight rage with the rest of the song.
la belle de jour
alceu valença, 1992
recommended for seonghyeon
the instrumental of this song is very beautiful, it tells the story of a remarkable and unforgettable encounter
wired
basement, 2026
recommended for all of cortis
since cortis took the path of becoming idols, i feel like even with how transparent they are with coers, there may still be sides of themselves they have to hold back on camera. “wired” explores that feeling of restraint and eventually dropping the facade, whether by choice or force, and i think they might connect with that. plus it’s just a great alternative-rock jam :)
ched&l
way ched & trade l, 2023
recommended for all of cortis
i know that the song "flirt" from this album is very popular through trends, but the other songs from the album are just as praise-worthy in my opinion. i recommend this album because i feel like cortis would completely eat up an R&B concept. i was obsessed with this album at some point, and i hope that cortis would find it just as commendable.

can i call you tonight?
dayglow, 2018
recommended for martin
i personally feel like this song is literally martin and his personality, just described in a few lyrics. based on what martin has said, he grew up with rock music, but i think he is also a really emotional and a really soulful person, so i figured he might like this song.
get some (remix)

hanul lee, 2020
recommended for juhoon
i'm not completely aware of this artist's popularity in korea specifically, but i can say one thing without doubt his music, especially this song, is sublime. i have this very deep-rooted feeling that juhoon will enjoy his music as much as i do.
dancer in the dark
chase atlantic, 2017
recommended for james
when i heard this song for the first time, it immediately reminded me of james. from the lyrics to even the title, this song just screams james. the vibe of the song is what i feel would resonate with james deeply.
