cortis has expressed an interest in british music & cited several brit bands as influences + inspirations. the poles have an extensive catalogue that draws heavily from britpop with a distinct lyrical sensibility that the lyricist himself has described as “boyish” and youth-oriented. given that they’re also kr based their approach to the poles music might feel more familiar esp within the context of kr’s own music scene :)
