why they might enjoy it:
it’s a non-fiction book about creative/fiction writing, but with a twist. instead of just teaching you how to write a “good” story, it questions who made the rules of good writing in the first place, and why we treat certain storytelling conventions as universal. it’s basically part craft book, part cultural criticism, and part argument about power.

as a youngcreatorcrew that writes their own music, i feel like cortis would enjoy this and hopefully gain some new insights from it.
