why they might enjoy it:
i think the song beautifully captures the idea of growing up, discovering yourself, and becoming someone new through the experiences life gives you. the song uses space imagery to describe someone who has ventured beyond what is familiar and returned changed, which reminds me of cortis beginning their own journey into the world as artists. as they travel, meet new people, experience different cultures, and grow through their music, they’ll inevitably become different from who they were when they first started. what i love about the song is that it doesn’t treat change as something to be afraid of- it’s curious and almost admiring of the person they’re becoming. i think that’s a meaningful message for them and validates their mentality: to embrace the opportunities ahead of them, explore the world, and take the time to discover who they are beyond being performers.
