mononoke the movie: chapter ii - the ashes of rage

kenji nakamura & kiyotaka suzuki · 2025 · movie

recommended for: all of cortis

why they might enjoy it:
i’ve never watched an animated movie or series as unique and experimental as mononoke, with its quirky, colorful visuals and complex story exploring people, society, and psychological horror. i especially thought of james as an anime and cinephile, but i think all of cortis could enjoy how creative and thought-provoking it is, and i’d also recommend checking out the original 2007 series.

content note: reproductive themes, supernatural horror, sexual themes
