honestly the whole album is impeccable but specifically this song, although short, feels as though you’re stepping through a portal to a faraway land. sonically, it’s reminiscent of my childhood where laughter was the background noise to life, days were never bleak and magic was everywhere. martin’s been training since he was a child; he’s probably always had to take life a little more seriously and with a bit more added pressure, so i offer this song to him if he ever feels like he needs to breathe
