why they might enjoy it:
when cortis came to jakarta for allo bank festival, the energy from the indonesian coers was unreal, and i think one of the reasons is that jakarta (and indonesia by extension) is really passionate about music. if there’s one indonesian artist i feel like cortis might mess with, it’s niki, especially the song “high school in jakarta.”

being at allo bank and watching cortis perform brought me right back to my own high school years, and in a way, supporting them has felt like that ever since. i’m working now, growing up and moving forward, but being a fan of cortis somehow lets me revisit that teenage version of myself, fearless, free-spirited, and inquisitive.
