why they might enjoy it:
this movie is set in a community filled with poverty, gang violence involving children, and drug dealing. it highlights the struggles of living and highlights the cycle of gang violence. there are a lot of shocking scenes and mature themes. this film is very raw and cut-throat and i do not recommend it for people who get highly stressed or queasy easily. however, the story-telling and cinematography makes you, the audience, feel like you are there with the characters and you dive deep within the setting of this story.
